Let me start by saying I think I’m a really lucky guy. Honest. I’m a single guy, no kids, a steady job, a fantastic dog, and live in America’s finest city (San Diego). It would be sacrilege to complain and I understand that. I’m very lucky.
As an avid traveler, I’m always looking for the next adventure as soon as one ends. However, unlike many travel bloggers, this isn’t my full time job. I didn’t quit my job while in my 20’s and sell everything to trek the globe. I work full time and have responsibilities. Admittedly, I’m jealous of those who can drop everything and survive without a steady income. But I’m not one of them.
So, like most people I have a steady 9-5 and daydream of where I’d like to go within the confines of work. When traveling, I try to do as much as I can in the limited amount of time my vacation days allow. For a few weeks every year, I get to disappear and experience new cultures. That’s what this blog is about.
