It’s been reported that Bangkok plans to get rid of its street food vendors by the end of the year. It’s too bad since that is a huge draw for tourists like me who really enjoy street vendors and see it as a way to experience a culture through food. I was fortunate enough to visit last November and ate at every food stall I could find including many in Chinatown. I admit that not knowing exactly what I’m ordering from a stall is part of the fun for me. All I need to know is if it tastes good. Let’s be honest, sometimes it’s better to just not know. I’d recommend going to Bangkok if you have the chance since it really is a fun experience.
